We are currently in the process of creating a new, improved website for our business Creative Blooms.
Meanwhile as of the 30th June, 2020 we are unable to process automatic payment for goods purchased from this online store.
Please call us on 0439 521 438 for manual processing of credit card payments to ensure your orders will be delivered on time.

Also there may be some flowers and chocolates that we can’t get at the moment due to Covid19. Supply is improving but not at 100% yet.
We would substitute these in your orders to the same value.

Kind regards

- Rita McKay

Tips & Tricks

-When your lucky enough to receive fresh flowers arranged in a box or pot make sure the green oasis never dries out. Feel the base with your finger, does it feel very moist? With a cup or small watering can just pour fresh, clean filtered water, if possible, through to the base, enough to cover it slightly, once a day.

-Make sure you place your flowers away from heat and bright light. There is a misconception that people think their cut flowers are the happiest in the sun. However, cut flowers are actually the opposite of potted plants.

-Avoid sitting your flowers beside ripening fruit or vegetables, especially bananas and apples. Ripening fruit gives off an odourless invisible gas called ethylene.

For those of you who have a bouquet or fresh cut flowers, first thing you need to do is have a clean non-metallic  vase, add lots of fresh, clean  water, if possible filtered and a drop of bleach. Unwrap your flowers and re-cut the stems with a clean pair of secateurs or floristry knife 2cms up on a 45 degree angle. Immerse them into the vase water immediately.
